Which centri?

I'm wondering what kind of centrifugal supercharger to get, I've got a 96 GT that is well maintained. I want to get roughly 500 hp out of it eventually. I'll be adding water meth injection after the supercharger is in too. I want a car that is fully streetable yet also fun at the track.

Any suggestions?

with 500rwhp you will need a built bottom end. you dont have to run a meth kit. i say go with a procharger d-1SC. it is plenty for what you need.

I know I'll need a built bottom end... btw with a tune how much can the hypereutectic stuff take?

I want to run a meth kit because I want to run more aggresive timing than just a normal tune

and actually I would much rather have a chemical type cooling than an intercooler... stealth shit is more fun xD

well if you dont want an intercoller showing, you can always run an aftercooler. i also recommend procharger. the stock motors are hypereutectic stock and will handle around the 430-450rwhp range.

it is up to where you get it tuned at. some shops use diablo others use sct. if you look at the more known shops they will run sct so if you go that route you will have to either have a chip burned or a programmer. either way your tuner will point you in the right direction.

alright, procharger it is... I'll be pretty much making my own setup. I've decided on the tuning issue too...

I've decided that I'll be using an extra injector controller, keeping the stock injectors, and will also be buying the sniper special forces software to make changes to the spark map and tranny shift points and firmness,
and unlike other people who've done extra injector setups, I'll be using the injectors straight into the manifold via a plenum/manifold spacer about 3/4 to 1 inch wide. I'll be using two injectors on either side, one closer to the front of the car and one closer to the rear. at a maximum of a 45 degree angle bit probably less than that.... hopefully a 30 degree agle. I've got a friend used used a similar setup on the 2.2L chevy ecotec engine directly into the manifold and is making close to 600 hp, so its a proven technology... not some bullshit excuse.

Reasoning behind this setup is that I want to be able to control my fuel easily if I go out to a track and change a pulley. or if I go on a trip to lower altitudes... don't want to fuck anything up.
