Which midpipe to use for my flows?
I'm looking for some mean sound, wouldn't mind some performance help, but mostly just want loud. I cut out the stock mufflers and installed some flowmasters for a little grumble, but want more. I am leaning towards an h pipe for the smoother deeper sound, but might not mind the pop and scream of an x. Which do y'all recommend? Will my generalizations between the two hold true for my stock catback with the flows, ie will the diameter of the stock pipes make much difference in the sound compared to all the ones I hear online with $$$$$ catbacks?
Also, I want to go the cheap ebay route, any preference, or any to avoid between UPR, BBK, or MAC?

BBK makes nice mid-pipes. If you want loud then go with an o/r (off-road) h or x pipe. Either will sound great on your 2v motor. You will need either a tuner or MIL eliminators to get rid of your CEL though

Sorry, what is CEL?
Definitely going with o/r. Also, how tough is the install for a beginner? Haven't done much work on exhaust; only brakes, minor engine work, etc.

CEL=Check Engine Light
Install should be fine for you if you can turn a wrench/socket. Just unbolt the old and in with the new. Impact gun with a swivel socket adaptor will make the job go twice as fast when getting to the manifolds. And PB Blaster/WD40 is a must.

Can I harm anything throwing on a MIL eliminator? The cheapo ebay ones ok for the job? Thanks for the quick replies, I appreciate it.

Stanglifemike - Final question (I think!) on this topic: Do I need the MIL eliminator on each sensor, I have 6 total, right? Are they all the same, or would they make them specific for each one?

No you don't. You'll get 2 when you order them. The other 2 sensors are before the cats, so the reading won't change there.
