Purge Control Solenoid or Purge Control Valve fault

Had a ODB II P1443 code for my 1997 Mustang. I've gotten so far as this:
Evaporative Emission Control System - Vacuum System - Purge Control Solenoid or Purge Control Valve fault

But I have no idea how to do that. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

on the homepage, click on the aarc icon...youll pick your year and engine and it will bring up a a manual for you...

grr.. i have the same code on my 96 v6 and its really bugging me as well but im guessing mine is the evap purge reg valve becuase i replaced the hoses and the charcoal canister and to no avail...

might want to replace the evap purge control valve and sensor, might want to read this post for the diagrams.
