Rubber Cylinders


When i was replacing my rear springs there was rubber cylinders inside the springs... wut the hell are these??? bump stops??? my car goes thunkkkk! everytime i hit a dip i dont know if you even need these?

Yes they are stops, i forget the exact name of them

but it keeps the axle from hitting the bottom of the car

and i would leave them on
