what do you suggest

I'm replacing my intake manifold, what else would you suggest i replace or modify or may get a better part that would be easier to do while replacing it. is this a good time to change the stock throttle body and plenum .which is the best manifold to buy that will not cost a arm and leg or is the OEM manifold good enough

personally I think the new bbk ssi combo looks to be top o the line, but im sure youll get lots of other suggestions. WWW.CJPONYPARTS.COM has a good price on the combo with throttle body

the bbk ssi unit is upper and lower intak, fuel rails and your choice w/ or w/out throttle body. cjpony sells them w/ throttle body for around 650-675

the new professional products typhoon intake is better than the bullitt intake. i dont know if you have done a PI swap or not bu you would have to have the PI heads to run that intake. id say if ya dont just change to the PI intake and be done with it

save your money and just go with a accufab plenum and 75mm throttle bodie.

typhoon intake even if you dont gain the power they claim (because the claims are with cams and head work) its a lot stronger intake for the same price as a PI intake...

no i haven't done a PI swap, but i'm going to look into the typhoon intake. I really haven't done anything to it. but my manifold has a crack in it, so i figured while i'm changing it I might else as well upgrade some other things

its only $529 and it made 23 horses on the top and about the same all the way through the powerband on a completely stock engine

hey that was not a stock engine they made the 23HP with, if you are talking about the one in 5.0MAG it had heads and cams. with a PP TB and plenum.

Yeah but th intake is also alot stronger then the plastic ones that are currently in the 2V...I have heard production is reallt slow...Like only 15 made so far...

no that was the anderson ford motorsports car. im tlaking about another car, thatw as compltely stock. either way its the best intake on the market for these 2v motors that doesnt cost 3 grand. it actually doesnt lose any power in the lower band but gains throughout the entire power band. none of the other intake can do this. if they gain 25 horses on top they love 20 hp in the low rpms. which isnt good! and they arent expensive too so thats another great thing about them. ill be putting it on my blown engine and i bet ill see 50+ hp form the intake a lone. but well see. still gonna be a couple monthes before the s/c goes back on

You can also port and polish the lower intake manifold for more flow as well...

yeah im putting one on mine too. i was going to do a bullit but this typhoon is just to good. th bullit looks cool and all but i like power above looking good. yeah you can port them out a ton. the are supposed to be released in 3 weeks and ive allreayd got my name on a satin one!!!!!!!

ok after readng the firstone, that does seem like a halfassed attempt, havnt gotten to the second one yet and that fucker didnt even have a tune before he started saying it was falling on its face. with these cars, yall should know that with a mod like that, your gonna need a retune to adjust fpr the new stuff. i bet if they tuned it first, it wouldnt have fallen on its face. that is the first bad thing that have read about it.
