DTC Front 2 Oxygen Sensors- help please.

P0135 02 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1 Sensor 1) &
P0155 02 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 2 Sensor 1)

were thrown in my car this morning. The sensors ar eplugged into the bungs on the collector pipe of my long tubes, and have not thrown a code sense installation last winter. I got on it hard and rode it to redline at WOT for 2 gears on my way to the dentist this morning. I cleared the codes with my xcal 2, but in case they come back- any suggestions?

I have the oxygen sensor extender harness from jegs. It has a high-temp coating for the wires in a jacket similar to that of the EGR pipe.

I have bosch oxygen sensors for the front.

They are a screw in style and we used tape on the threads to ensure tight fit.

What would throw these two codes and no others? 2 O2 sensors don't go out at the same time do they?

Found the fix. I was unplugging and messing with the oxygen sensors when I noticed that the plastic plug from the sensor to the extender harness on both sides had melted to the long tubes and shorted the wires. I guess I need new front O2 sensors and extender harness now.

Well, I pulled the sensor harness away from the headers and cleared the ecu and started it about 10x and drove it for a half hour and it is fine! I just need to tape up the melted plug area with electrical tape then a high temp tape and I am done! Thanks for the help guys :wink

Dumbass!
The harness is wrapped in the "EGR wrap stuff" The high temp stuff wraps the O2 extender harness, but it slipped to the plastic plug and melted, making the wire temps too hot. Honest mistake- could happen to anyone
