Oil pump and oil...

Two questions actually...

Will the stock oil pump on a '98 GT be able to handle pumping oil back to my remote turbo? The turbo is located where the driver side muffler used to be.

Second, what is a good oil to use? I hear a fully synthetic is really good on turbos.

the stock oil pump should work fine

Synthetic is NOT a good oil for a turbo, there was a theory behind it that i read somewhere

some good Castrol 5w-20 would do fine

I was looking into that Royal Purple stuff. I heard it was good sh*t. I don't know if it is turbo friendly though. But I'd have to order it every time I needed to change oil, so going with that Castrol would probably be my best bet huh?

Most guys on TM are running it, but Royal Purple is just as good

as long as its not synthetic, you'll be replacing bearings in no time with synthetic
