If you put a front motor plate on you should be putting a mid plate on as well.

I agree. An engine plate needs a mid-plate and a limiter as well as a trans mount to support the weight of the tailshaft

are you both trying to say do it for the twist? if so I don`t think it would be worth it for me my tranny is part of the truck and won`t move even with a 3000hp motor with torque to match.I have it sollid mounted in two spots(front and back of trans) plus I have a front mount plate( yes a limiter too) and I have a engine cradle that is solid to the frame and motor. If it is only for flex I have none and it would be only a few inches(maybe 4 max) between the motor and trans that is not solid mounted. If other reason you say that I need or should use one please fill me in why. Thanks

A midplate isn't used for flex. It's used primarily as a support to remove some of the weight from the trans case. Cars that use just a front plate and a rear trans mount tend to crack the trans case due to flexing.
