BBK Longtubes

Is it true that BBK longtubes don't fit on automatics? Because I was looking at getting some BBK ceramic coated longtubes (Part # BBK-15160) an mating them up to a BBK H-pipe (Part # BBK-1510). And yes I do have an AOD so please let me know if this would work. Please help.

not sure about the clearance, but it may not bolt up to MAC headers. i know some people have had problems getting a MAC midpipe to bolt up to BBK headers because MACs are designed to allow you to drop the tranny without removing the headers. apparently, BBK's are a tighter fit, so their respective midpipes don't line up.

You might have to take it to a muffler shop and they can bend it a bit to make it fit right

well i was lookiing on 50resto.com an it said that bassani's an bbk's require slight modification to fit autos. does anyone have bassani/bbk l/t headers that knows exactly what modification has to be done to them or atleast an idea as to what would need to be done? i only say this becuz i heard that macs have a "flimsy" flange that can warp easily.
