Converting a V6 to a V8


i have a v6 mustang and i want something faster so i was wondering what i should do? should i drop a new engin in my v6 to save on insurance. or would it be cheaper to just buy a GT im lookin at the years 99-04 mustang. also my v6 right now is an automatic and i would like a manual. what would you suggest. thanks

even if you convert it..it wont save you on insurance..i dont think..you still have to specify the egine size weather its a swap or not.

Well it really depends, I have a V6 Mustang, at least I did, but I took the V6 Engine out and dropped a V8 in it, and on my insurance it still says V6 on it, it, they never asked me about an Engine swap what so ever, but then again you could be right as well, perhaps some insurance companys ask about that sort of thing.
