Kenne Bell or ProCharger

Now I know I already had a topic about nitrous, but instead I've decided to save my money and go supercharged. My only problem is that I don't know what kind to get: Centri or Roots. The mods I've done to my car so far are cold air intake, maf conversion, mac longtubes, mac o/r h pipe, flowtech stinger warlock cat backs (dumped), an am looking at a transgo shift kit pretty soon here.

Twin Screw ;-) Instant Power vs. Centri with a little lag. up to you. i say Procharger. the Twin Screws sound awesome though, if that counts for anything

I think you just narrowed your search to a used Vortech or Procharger (if you're lucky).

I would get Procharger. Their placement allows for easier IC application. IMO

def go with the centri blower, your running a higher compression and they work better with that. lus they make for an all around faster car.

A D1 would make it alot of fun...But in the $3K price range your going to be4 limited to the P1...Unless someone is really in need of cash and sells a D1 set-up for a large loss...

I can complain about my #'s with just a P1SC. And Ive spanked a K.B. and a Vortech. Definatly go either Procharger or Kenne Bell. Personally I think Vortechs are junk. But thats just me

What comes with it depends on how much you wanna spend. I think the base kit does not include injectors or the MAF. I paid $4,600 for mine but I upgraded to a 3 core intercooler, 42lb injectors, 90mm MAF, Bigger 300lph fuel pump, and I got the polished blower.

I had a P1SC Procharger for 12 months. No issues at all with the unit. I bought the extended 3 year waranty for $49. Once the s/c was putting out 480+ rwhp, it ran lean on fuel, so put 60 lbs injectors and the GT500 dual pumps. Fuel problem solved.

As a daily the centri worked great for me. Went on an 800 miles road trip and returned 24.9 mpg. I have a friend who has a KB on his 05 GT. He's putting down 500+ lbs rear wheel torque. The KB looks great too. He's very happy with his s/c and as far as I know, it works great as a daily too.

The only reason I went turbo is to meet my power goals which are beyond the capacity of the P series Procharger. I also wanted to be able to adjust the boost from inside the cabin. My car is still a daily but only because the commutes are 2-3 miles in light traffic.

The Cenrti. blowers work great on the street. I can just criuze mine around, stay outta higher rpm's and you would never know its there. But when you want the power, its not far away.
