Dual exhaust is actually suppose to help your gas its possible that when they put it on the might of done something to the gas tank if you got a place to lift it check under it and see if you can spot the leak if its caused by the exhaust take it back and tell them to fix it and blame it on them my brother has a 2000 dodge truck and got dual exhaust and had the same problem turns out the dented his gas tank or cracked it from trying to bend the pipe the right way and he got it fixed from them if its their fault and wont fix it im sure somewhere in there you can sew them :wink

you mpg is going down because your hitting the gas to hear your new exhaust.

it smells like gas because it's new and it has a anti rust coating on it that needs to be burnt off.
the gas smell will go away with time.
