I'm trying to decide...

I want a Tri-ax shifter and a new set of gears. What should I get first? And should I get the 3.73s or the 4.10? Keep in mind I drive this thing daily too.

*Or another set of gears.

Welcome to the forums!

Gears first. Look in the modular mustang forums. There are some recent posts going back and forth between those gear setups that will answer all ur questions about those gears. I say 4.10s all the way though on a n/a setup. So just check it out.

4.10's first, and when you do a shifter, go with MGW instead of the Steeda

1+ but about 2/300 dollars to have installed. The shifter is easy to install but not buch bang for the buck. Personaly If it were my daily driver go with 3.73, they alsomatch the toqure curve of the motor better than 4.10. In a hight 8/9k reving mousy motor sure 4.10s even 5.38s for 1/8 mile. but talk around 3.73 are the best for the 4.6
