Windows

Vert dudes...

About...hmm...9 or 10 months ago, I started having a problem closing my doors. When the door closed and the top was up, the window would get caught on it, leaving like a 1/2" gap. I have close my door by pushing on the top of the window. I didnt have any maintenance done to cause it, just one day it started happening. I attempted to take my door panel off to see if I could adjust the track, but after breaking the mach 460 speaker, and almost destroying the door paneling, I put it back on and said F-it. I can't really figure out whats up. The windows roll up correctly, and don't go up any further than they ever have. I'm just a little worried about people getting out of the passenger side, not knowing and slamming the door and my window shattering. Anyone else have this problem, or can think of any way to fix it?

OK, I cant open the images.
But I think I know what you are describing. There was another member in here about 6 months back with the same issues.

I'll tell you what Ive seen, no guarantee though.

First, run your hand acroos the top of the vert at the support bars. Theres little "staples" underneath that hold it tight to the supports. If any have popped lose, you'll feel a bump. If they have came lose, it may cause the material to shift to one side or the other. I actually had that happen in the back. I simply folded it back and tapped them back in.

Hmm...they work for me...I'm not sure how else to post pictures on here. I used photobucket for those. Maybe theyre too big? Should I try putting 2 in a post or something?

What ja002 was describing sounds like it could be the problem. It started out on the drivers side. I rarely have people in the passenger side, so I'm not sure how long it has been on that side, but the drivers side has stopped, and closes normally, so the vinyl shifting sounds pretty accurate. I'll check what you were talking about when I get time, and let you know what I find out. Thanks for the help guys
