DPFE

I know where it is now and i went to check the hoses, and one was like glued to the sensor and i used a lil force ended up ripping the hose? where can i get a new one? or when buying a new dpfe sensor does it come with the hoses?, and i might as well replace them both while im at it

i'm pretty sure the DPFE sensor just comes with the sensor, but maybe one of the ford techs can make a hosing sugguestion... you also could try taking it down to your local parts store and see if they have some hosing the same diameter. i saw that latemodelrestoration.com is offering the the 3.8 dpfe sensor for 20 something bucks.

It's a high temp silicone hose. They don't come w/ the sensor but depending on how far it ripped, you can either cut if off and use the shortened hose( if there is enough room) or they are avaible at the delaer for around $5-7 each. I would also think that most parts stores should have the silicone hose. Regualr vac hose will work but will fail sooner due to the heat generated through those hoses.

Ill try that site, and then try cutting the hose, it only ripped like 1/2 inch so hopefully it works. i don't wanna go out and spend the 100 for the dpfe the local stealership charges

tell us more about the unknown squeek? is it the front sway bar bushings?

have you tried flushing the brake fluid and it still is squishy? did you flush starting with the lines farthest from the master cylinder (passenger rear, drivers rear, passenger front, drivers front)?
