What is the pros and cons of urethane spring isolators?

First off I want to say thanks for all the input I got on my previous posts. You guys are great helping out a "NEWBIE" like me! My question is what affects, good or bad do urethane spring isolators have on a suspension? I've got steeda springs to install and just want to do it up right the first time. Any suggestions would be great!

urethane will last longer than the standard rubber nor will they flex or give as easily

Thanks man! Will urethane due to the stiffness add a little more ride height?
