Hey guys, i'm pretty much automotive-retarded, and I just need a few how-to's. I just bought a pre-owned '02 and there's a few random things I want to do before I start adding on performance stuff.

First of all, there's some nice things i found on mustangtuning.com to make the e-brake look a little better, but right now there's this leather-looking covering on it that in my opinion looks ugly, and I have no idea how to get off. How would I go on about putting the billet aluminum e-brake handle on and getting rid of that cheap-feeling fake leather crap on the lower part of my e-brake?

Also, on my mustang there's a tape stripe on the bottom of the door. How much would I probably be charged to take that off? (I'm afraid to do it myself since it's 4 years old, the paint is probably darker under it and it'll probably not be so easy for somebody with no experience like myself)

Also, when I bought it there was a few chips in the fiber glass on the hood. These chips are smaller than a dime, nothing big. My friend told me that they could just patch it up no problem, and my other friend told me they'd have to redo the entire hood.

E-brake: Some of them just slip right over it to fit.

Tape: You can use a hairdryer to heat it up and peel it off if its a vynl stripe, and then use something like goo gone to remove any residue.

Hood: places like autozone have hood touch up pen type things that usually match the color of the car pretty nicely so those could work.
