turbo or supercharger


which is better
i no the basics superchargers are more expensive and easier to install
but turbos get more power
I also no that superchargers dont lag
I alos no that turbos use wasted engery and that superchargers use energy to make power
is there anything else that i should no

turbos are more expensive, but if you have the money thats the way to go.

:homo

twin screw superchargers have no lag, but centrifugals do.. a centrifugal is more like a belt driven trubocharger.. centrifugal has more parasitic loss than a twin screw, but a turbocharger has no parasitic loss

Another challenge with boosting a engine is...... knowing what your compression ratio is and how much boost you can do before posibly needing to change headgasket designs and need stronger headbolts.
