What Transmission Fluid?

I drive an automatic, I'm low on tranny fluid. I need to add some but i don't know what kind I need. Two different people have told me I need type F but i researched this a bit and apparently that's just for older models? like pre 1977 or so.
mine's a '94...

I have another concern regarding this...
today I went to pick up some tranny fluid but I got pretty confused. There's like more than one kind of ATF fluid...
the one I got says it's suitable for most vehicles manufactured after 1983 (including Ford), but it says "not for use in vehicles requiring Type F, Dexron VI, Mercon SP, Full Synthetic Mercon"

am I good to go with this one?

You should just get the RP max atf which can be used for both manual and auto...
