Hey all. I'm knew to the site so, bear with me. I bought a 92 gt and now got some problems. First i noticed the smog pump was not hooked up the guy just put a shorter belt on. 2nd I notice the AC is not even hooked up as well do I need the pully or a shorter belt? Then I got the BBK cold air intake, Put that on no problems, On a 100 degree day i was sitting at a stop light and there was a loud pop and the car died out like it was starving for air and fuel. Tried to start it CHUG CHUG nothing, It was not running hot or anything i limped it through the intersection waited bout 1 hour it fired right up and ran like a champ. Do I need to retime it after installing cold air intake? I did plug 2 vaccum leaks one behind the upper intake and 1 on the I think its the FMU right by the throttle body. The only other things i have done is 410 gears, tranny, x pipe, headers, and knew spark plugs which i do not think any of that is the problem. O and bypassed the heater. Any help would be great. I dont know about other people but ive always had great luck and increase in performance with Ford Racing performance wires, when i upgraded the oem style ones to the performance ones i dropped a tenth off my 0 to 60 mph time
