For christmas im getting a true dual set up

My question is whats the sound, cost difference of an H-pipe and straight pipes?

H pipe will be a little more expensive because they have to make it/you have to buy it. but H pipe will sound better IMO, im sure someone will post arguing that divorced duals sound better but IMO they dont, duals with an H pipe sounds better

the place where im getting mine done is charging $45 more for an H pipe... the sound quality that you get... might or might not be worth it... i will get straights and get and H at a later date just to make sound clips to see what people think about it

I thought you had to go h or x. H is the deaper sound and that is what I went for with magnaflows and I like it. Most people will tell you flowmasters are better sound so go that direction. The magnaflows came highly suggested and I have no complaints. When I really rip on my car I can see how it is possible I have a loud deeper rice burner noise lol. I went JBA headers to custom H pipes to magnaflows with dual cats. 2.5" pipes I believe also.

Ive heard mag and flo and the difference is just a matter of opinion. Just recently I haerd a car that had Flowmaster BUT also had an upgraded cam and WOW!!!.... what a difference that cam made.

IMO any appropriate AMERICAN exaust upgrade is better than stock and will make you happy.

cam makes it sound 1 million times better. but that can get expensive because our cam is down in the block not in the heads.

dont get a cam yet
unless you only plan on doing exhaust and a cam
a cam is something you wana more or less pick last to get the one best for your set up
