I have a 2005 mustang GT couple of mods. im planning on useing 100 shot. can someone explain the '3k-6k" window i see around. is it something in a tune or a thing i can get somewhere else?
That's the safest rev range for spraying. 3k-6k rpm. If you spray at too low of an rpm, the nitrous will pool in the intake. If you spray above 6k you'll pin the rev limiter are kill your car.
You need to buy a window switch. (It's not a must, but better safe than sorry)
MSD digital window switch part #8969 is the preferred choice

That's what we recommend to use on these cars. You can tie into the injector or ignition coil. Spraying nitrous below 3k rpm's can put a tremendous load on the bottom end, thats why we recommend starting at 3k. And yes like he said, you do not want to tag the limiter with the nitrous spraying. The window switch is well worth the money.
thanks guys, another question is i hear ngk are the preferred spark plugs for 100 shot, but i cannot find them for my model (2005 mustang gt) i only see them for the 2008 and up. is th
part number for 1 step colder plugs part number is 497-3VR14S
I've seen a lot of people use these with good outcomes. They aren't NGK, but Steeda Brisk plugs.
I would also look into a gear lockout if you plan on spraying. Keep you from spraying in whatever gear you may choose not to spray in.
