I vote stick with SCT... there are far more SCT custom tuners out there.. I don't know a whole lot about the Fuego, but sct is pretty much the standard these days.. There are lots of good diablosport tuners out there as well..

I would find a shop that you think you may one day would let tune your car, talk to them and see what they use. Choose whatever the shop you trust uses because thats what they'll have to use. I would suggest buying your tuner from them as well even though you could probably find better deals on the internet, simply because in the event that you go to have your car dyno tuned and half way through something bad happens with your programmer, since you bought it from them they'll have no problem getting you a new one.

That actually happened to me and I'm thankful the guys at Speedy dyno in KY hooked me up!

I personally would never buy anything Granatelli makes. He seems to copy other manufactures designs instead of coming up with things himself. And he whores him self out pretty good on MS. Any time any one ask a question about a product he chimes in to whore his goods and claiming his are superior to everyones else's.

But that's just my opinion.

Are you saying J.R does this himself? Or a rep for Granatelli Motorsports? I really doubt J.R is the one who "whores himself out." On MS, or any other message board. Granatelli Products have been around longer than SCT, so how is it that GM copys everyone else?

As far as I know it is JR himself. I do not want to get into some big debate here about it. Like I said this is my own personal opinion and is merely something I have observed over the years. Granetelli seems to release product identical to other companies some time after said companies have already released there products and many of his items look identical to other makes and models of products. Kind of like they reverse engineer things and merely copy them. Again only my opinion based on what i have seen.

All well, i cant argue with your opinion, your absolutely entitled to it. I was just curious if it was JR himself, or just a rep. Who knows. Sorry to poke at you.

That is realy not a fair statement. If someone asks about GMS it is GMS's job to chime in

Don't hate the players - hate the game. If you feel a company has a product that is identical to anothers thenyou should purchase the one that offer the best customer service as it relates to price.

here is my example, Target vs a chain supermarket. They both sell fruitloops and eggs. If I understand your example, no one should buy food from target becuase they are stealing business from the supermarket? You gotta buy on best price. I guess Energizer battery copied Duracell who copied Rayovak (spelling). So by your example we should al purchase Rayovak Only?

Granatelli just wants to make happy customers. We are done fighting and debating the symantics of who had what first. GMS has been in business since 1989. We did not make it 19 years buy screwing our customers

me and a quiet a few guys have ran gms products without any complaints at all. there are guys that have had issues with them, but none here. the only issue i have ever had with their prducts, is my upper control arm bushing has split and i need to get a new one. that is the only issue i have had with any of their product i have ran across. as far as the tuner goes, it is very comparable to the predator from what i know of it.

Well then you obviously do not understand my example. Not even close to being the same as your example.

i am running GMS lower and upper control arms on my car and have not had a problem. though i would stick with SCT for the tuner (or get the tuner that your dyno shop uses)
