How much boost can you put on a stock 3.8 v6 motor with out mesing up anything?

Sry everyone i typed the wrong engine size when i made the last forum. I need to know how much psi i can put in my stock 1999 v6 3.8l without messing up anything????? Thanks

whats your mileage? other things will break before the engine "messes up". ive heard 12psi from a conservitive tune. thats pushing it.

from what ive read and seen....9 is safe without an intercooler and 12 is safe with an intercooler. Anything higher yur gonna want a stronger block with forged internals with an 8.8 rear. Jonathan, if you post V6 questions in the V6 section.....youll get alot of answers from people who know alot about V6s.
