next mods

2004 gt vortech s trim, looking at gears now, daily driver but needs more snap from the low end, 3.73s????? anyone have any oppinions? also should i add an intercooler ???? whats next ? throw me some ideas

yes do the gears for the low end snap. you can also upgrade your pulley.
maybe a port and polish of the upper and lower/ with a bigger throttlebody/plenum . an intercooler is fun

and your might need new internals with heads/vavles/cam as well to improve even more. not to sure about the fuel injectors or pump just yet?

i have more or less same setup as you.. and i just got gears installed and omg is a big difference now i just need dr tires..

i would say gears was i good upgrade.. do it

3.73's are nice.

And an intercooler Is a good piece.
If I'm not mistaken the vortech gains about 40 horses from it.

I would certainly go with the intercooler...And gears if you can cough up the dough.

Air intake upgrades are good as well if you have not already done so.

Then another tune, with the cooler charge air, and whamm-o. It's on to the next obsession, cause it never stops.

3.73s are the shit for the 4.6 it max out the torque curve and RPM limiations
