AHHHHH Header bolt dosn't fit! HELP! PLZ!

ok as everyone may know Im currently putting in a set of BBK L/T headers. anyway there is one bolt that is sooo hard to get into the bottom 2nd hole on the drivers side header. the bolt hits on the header tube before it can go into the hole so you can get the tip of the bolt in but the its sideways and wount go in anymore because the tube is in the way. errrrrr headers are a pain in the arse! Help what do i do?

ball peen hammer.

or back off the other bolts and start all of them then tighten them all a little at a time. then torque to spec and pattern.

pound what with the hammer? the bolt? because that just messes up the threads. it seems like the flange n the pipe is too close to fit any bolt.

Take all of the bolts out and start that one first. Then put the rest in. This is common with headers.

I have the header completely off right now and I am still unable to get the damn bolt in. the pipe is way to close to the flange.

You might have to massage the pipe with a ball been hammer a bit then or learn some better geometry.
