they're probably charging between $30-$40 and hour and it'll probably take them 2 hours to do the job.

I don't know what car you are changing springs on, but I'm looking for a set of original springs from a 90 to 93 LX. If you are taking off your old springs that are in this category, could you let me know. 262-880-1767.

yeah, man, doing springs is easy as hell. the first time you do it, it might take a little longer just learning the ins and outs, but it's easily something you could knock out in a few hours your first time. i've done springs i don't know how many times, and it gets easier each time i do them.

This is for replacing the shocks and struts
Mach1 Shock and Strut Install

This is for replacing the springs
Mustangworld Progressive Rate Springs Install
i just kinda of combined the two directions and it was fairly simple, the front to considerable longer, the rear was a piece of cake.
i replaced my suspension this past weekend with bilsteins and H&R race springs and i love it. it handles like a dream.

i was thinking about the sportlines, but they have a softer spring rate than the H&R's so i went with the stiffer setup...still drives beautifully, everyone that rides in it says it rides smoother than before

I've been thinking about doing H&R's and Bilsteins. Which Bilteins do you have? And do you have H&R race or H&R super race?

i have the H&R race springs. i just bought the MM starter box from stangsuspension.com. i was going to call em up and see about trading the springs out for the super race or super sports, but i didn't bother cuz the H&R race was good enough. i don't know if the bilsteins are the HD's, sport or race, whatever comes in the package. but i love the set up tho. it is so flat around the corners now...

I called a couple of shops to get prices for installing lowering springs and c/c plates $ 275.00-369.00
