Shocks / Struts

My car is lowered (not sure how much), but they keeped the stock shocks/struts. It feels like it bottoms out everytime I hit a bump. Has anyone used the strange adjustable ones on a fox? Also looking into the tokico hp, are those any good? I'm looking for something desent and not to expensive.

Strange is pretty good, but most use them for drag oriented setups (like me). I think the tokiko will give you a better ride and handling. Yea it's pretty common for the ride to degrade with the stock shocks / struts on a lowered suspension.

im running the eibach pro kit with tokico illumina 5 way shocks and struts. i keep the rear set on 4, the front on 3. rides a liile stiffer than stock, but not bad. when its time to drag race i set the front to 1 and let it rise lol.

I will be running Strange 10 ways in the rear, strange 10 ways in the front with a D&D coil over. I will let you know how it goes when I get them!

i have the tokico HP's on mine, they are not adjustable like the illumina's... but are much better than OE parts and performed great at autoX, but if i had the money i would of ordered bilsteins... i got my hp's with a tokico kit that also included 1.5" lowering springs.

struts

For drag racing the strange's are hands down better. The tokiko or how ever you spell it lol!! the IIlimnia series are designed for lowered cars and they do not release as well at launch like the Strange's do
