WOT micro or Window switch

hey guys...do I need both the wot micro switch and a window switch ....im getting the idea that a window switch does the same thing as a micro switch...and by reading some installs...guys are only using window switches on their s197.

no....u can just runa window switch and will be fine...
i have the edelbrock window switch....

but you need a tach adapter when you run a window switch....msd and auto meter has them....

you need one cause you will not get the right rpm signal...

edelbrock plate system (wet)....what shot you going to run..???

50....get it tuned in ...then 75....same thing...then ill settle on the 100. anything above that isint recomended with the stocker fuel pump

if you get the 8969 msd window switch, you won't need a tach adaptor.

i am running both window and wot switch. I don't want the juice spraying on accident if I am just cruising down the road in that window. better to be safe than sorry.

Get the WOT switch also. They are a lot cheaper than a motor rebuild. When you start cutting corners on nitrous than you are asking for trouble.

+1 to the WOT switch.. you aren't planning on hitting the nitrous unless you're at WOT anyways, right?

How is that the case? Dont the 99+ cars have to have a tach adapter for any tach related item?

Okay thanks...the kit came with the WOT switch...its just I read an article where you cant hook them up to these drive by wire cars thats all.

I already have the autometer tach adapter to run my shift light
