ok, i dont really know what the difference are between the different kinds of diffs. theres the lds, lockers, open, and reg posi. ive heard the lockers can be pretty violent when they lokc. what would be a good setup for mine. im going 31 spline axles. i need it to be fairly smooth on the street but i also need it to work well out at the track. anyways let me know what yall think. this is what ive been thinkg about going with. 31 spline moser axles, eaton detroit locker, and 3.73 frpp gears. anyways let me know what yall think. im looking for the knowledgable people who really know what they are tlkaing about. please dont comment if you dont really know. thanx

4.10s
31 spline Mosers
spool

How long is it going to be before you go FI? I think you would want more gear than the 3.73 for NA. For a budget build, I would go with a trac-lok unless you can pick an eaton up for a good price. You can get an exploder 31 spline and FRPP 4.10s for less than what the Eaton would run you. It is all about how much you got to spend and your time frames. BTW, the spool was a joke. Not very streetable but will put the power to the ground.
