28 Spline Axles

how much power are 28 spline moser axles good for? I am looking at a used set... I want to one day hit 500 to the wheels and wondering if these will hold up.

not at 500 rwhp. well they will untill you start launching hard. go with some 31 splines if possible. but those axles are def a great step above stock and will do you good for a long time but not when ya get to the 500 rwhp

Even the stock axles should hold 500 rwhp if you don't run sticky tires, and 28 spline Mosers are much stronger than stock. But... if your going through the trouble of changing the axles you might as well upgrade to 31's. I bought a 31 spline Explorer Trac Loc off eBay for $60 and it does the trick for me.
