sway bar


hey guys, im going to be switching out my sway bar bushing but the guy at the shop said theres like 4-5 different length bars and i need to know the exact length in order to get the correct bushing. would any of you know what length sway bar is on a 96 v6 mustang? if not no big deal i guess i have to just get under there and measure huh lol thanks guys!

different length??? uhh there should be only one length for a 96 v6, there might be different stiffnesses but idk how he doesnt know the length for your car,

yeah it was kind odd i thought. but they have measurements from like 26 inchs to 30 or 31 i believe

dont listen to workers at shops.....they dont know what they are talkin about 90% of the time and they are just trying to bone more money out of you.

dude, that shop seems sketchy there isnt really any way to have different length sway bars, endlinks connect in one place, order one from somewhere like steeda and put it on your self it isnt hard

Maybe he meant swaybar DIAMETER. You WOULD have to know that to get new bushings.
