What do i need to do? suspension?

I want to lower my car, about 1.5 in front and 1in in the back. what do you all recommend for me to get. and what would i need so i have no problems with tread-ware..

Eibach is good, what year and model of mustang do you have? If you are only going 1.5 front and 1 in the back, you probably won't need any caster/camber plates to fix tire wear.

its a 96 GT. I am putting 18s, 255/40 front and 285/40 in the back. i also want to get the best traction i can with out obliterating my bank account
