96 GT Running Lean on both Banks
I have taken my 96 4.6 to the dealer because the check engine light is on and they ran some diagnosticts and said it is running lean on both banks. I was told that I should change the DPFE sensor and the MAF sensor and that should Fix the problem. I have changed both sensor but the light is still on. does any one have any ideas or has any one else had this problem? It does have a K&N air system.

Idiot Lights
is it still running lean or is the light still on? Cuz sometimes those lights just go on for no reason. It also might be a short in the wiring. You aren't the idiot just the lights.

Did you have the code cleared after you changed the MAF?

The light came back on so there for I assume it is still running lean. I installed the new MAF and cleared the codes went for a little test drive and the light came back on.
