Got A Hole In Your Tire? Fix It Cheap...

for those who dont know and have to go the tire shop and pay $20 for the to put a patch. this is a good whole plug

everytime i get a nail i use that sucker. it comes with 5 patches too, also comes with about 15 or more i think plug inserts. its a very sticky material that closes the whole perfect and works great.
ive done burn outs, raced everything with these in my tires and nothing bad happens.
i recommend it!

these do work well. i don't recommend this but i even used one for a hole in the sidewall. it lasted years before i finally replaced the tire.

never get that and drive hard though. yes it will last daily driving for a few thousand miles, but do a burnout, or turn hard, and you are a wreck waiting to happen.

you gotta make sure you cut the excess off flush and allow the adhesive to dry properly but the plugs should last quite some time, i have used them on many fleet vehicles, but yes ideally you want a real tire patch.

i'd have to agree with some. i had it on my old tires. and actually after you drive it, the extra stuff just gets smashed up in the tire tred.
ive dont donuts and burn outs with this in my tires...ive even had 2 on the rear passenger tire(the only tire that spins when u hit the gas n do a burn out) and nothing happend....i wouldnt recommend doing that but id have to say from personal experience nothing has ever happend...

actually i'd think some of you who say that havent used it and just taking an educated guess on it.

chris, those are not educated guesses, those are facts.these things are great for fixing something quick but in a performance application you should either have it fixed properly or get a new tire. it is NOT safe to be racing or burning out with those in. your lucky nothing has happened to you! just because something hasnt happened to you before, does not make it safe at all

well yea i wouldnt recommend racing with it. such as drag racing. if you know how to it comes with a patch that goes on the inside of the tire, those are much safe, it has a special glue for that. the plug ins is what i use nothing has never happend to me, but i know doesnt mean it wont happen to anyone.

i wouldnt consider that normal.

these patches are unsafe unless temporarily used in safer than average driving conditions. this is true despite what experience you may have had
