when it gets nicer out (i live in ohio and its pretty shitty with snow right now) im taking my mustang to a custom muffler shop to have them put true duals in with flowmaster 40s...if you go on youtube u can find some videos of different sounds just have to look around and listen for wat you like

nah...you should get a kit...trust me
get MAC exhaust,longtube headers,h-pipe,Cats

im not trying to bring you down or anything....but honest truth,
Flow 40's on a v6 they are not great!!
it will sound very raspy and low sound with a poping noise when you high rev. with v6. very shitty quality.
someone i know has them...not loud or anything at all

i had them on my old truck it was a v8 had a 350, and it was very very loud true dual flow 40's

but best bet....get a kit

+1 on youtube. But you'll never get the real sound from a vid clip. IMHO flomaster 40's. That's what I got and I LOVE THEM.

I have no poping at all! they sound great and I wouldn't want them to be any louder or I'd get pulled over like everyday.

but when it comes to exhaust its hard somtimes to get that deep sound like a v8 does on a v6
unless your willing to spend alittle bit extra $

i personally have only heard good things about the flowmasters on the V6's, but then again everyone likes wat they like so no hard feelings watsoever lol

The reason i was gonna do a custom fab was because i can get the fab and mufflers paid for and put in for roughly 400 or less....and the cheapest kit with the mid pipe is 400, and to get magnaflows or flowmaster setups it would be 600 without the mid pipe so its a bit more cost effective...im not going for huge power on mine just some small things to make it perform a lil better like plugs, basic intake/exhaust, stuff like that so if you want to build power in ur car you might look at bigger names but if u want a good sound and a good price i would suggest flowmasters but again my opinion
