a friend of mine used meguiar's liquid wax to totally polish the paint job and put a car cover over it. Keeps the dust from settling on the paint. He used to start it every day for abt 5 mins to keep the fluids from settling. Not sure abt the batteries tho.

I'm storing a couple vehicles in my garage. I can't afford to insure them and drive them so they just sit there. Only thing is, drive them AT LEAST ONCE a month so all the fluids/oil get circulated and the brake wheel cylinders dont rust up.

Remember if you're storing for a long period of time... gas gets bad, and a small amount of gas goes bad FASTER than a large amount.

Starting it up for only a few minutes is NOT good because condensation forms in the exhaust system after only a few minutes of running time, and it will rust the pipes. Its good to drive it some.

Over a period of non-use, the battery will go dead.

I know that it is not always possible and not advisable (not to mention unlawful) to drive any vehicle without insurance, registration, etc. but it is too expensive to let them sit even in a garage. I have a place in the country, which is where I am storing them, so I drive them there.

I'd put some sta-bil in the tank to keep the gas from going stale, and if you're worried about dust, grab a $15 car cover from costco.

Start the car about once a week and let it run for about an hour...

Also make sure and either back the car out of the garage once a week or jack the car up an spin the tires so you dont get flat spots...

Check your fluids and make sure you have plenty of anti-freeze in it...

Other then that just give it a good wash and a good wax and put a car cover over it...

The cheap car cover is not always the best for your car...I would find one that comes recommended so you dont scratch your car all up...I have seen car covers do a number on a car...

Other then that I really dont know of anything else...
