nitrous backfire
Hi all,
I just installed a Nitrousworks adj kit on my 93LX. I've been increasing the hp level a little at a time with no problems until now. I'm up to the 150hp jets and now when I get off the throttle it will backfire pretty good. Under load its fine. The plugs look good although I havnt done a proper check by clicking it off at the end of a run. I have a WOT switch as well as an RPM switch. This is my first time playing with this stuff so I figured I'd start asking questions before I have a rod thru the hood. I'm really just looking for general info on how to tune this system and where to start. Thanks |

That is a common problem with wet kits on EFI cars. The EFI intake is designed to flow air and not fuel. Alot of people destroy throttle bodies with those wet kits that have the plate between the throttle body and intake. My suggestion would be to get a dry kit or an NOS plate kit that goes between the upper and lower intake.
