Exhaust pipe size performance
I have an exhaust that is 2.75 inch from the headers back. would having a 2.5 exhaust tip coming from the muffler make a huge difference in performance? I just happen to have a set of 2.5 in pipes from the muffler back and was wondering what if any difference it would make.
Thanks |

it would make the tone a bit higher and unless you are pushing 500 hp through them then it wont make a difference

if you are highly modded, (tons of H.P.) yes it will make a difference.......but otherwise, no it will not hurt you. too big of a pipe on a fairly stock car will make you lose alot of bottom end power.
