convertible exhaust noise

Hey fellas, I have an 04 GT vert with Magnaflows on it -- was wondering if anyone has any soundproofing experience with verts, specifically if I soundproof my trunk, would it make a large difference in the interior exhaust noise levels? I love the sound of the Magnaflows, but with the top up, the sound of the exhaust comes through my back seat and the area that the top folds into something terrible -- it gives people headaches when they sit in my backseat! Should I just tell them to suck it up and enjoy the ride? And I'm trying to avoid soundproofing the entire car -- don't want all that extra weight. Any help from guys that have soundproofed their cars? Thanks.

i thought the back seats were for insurance purposes only! i cant even let any one ride in my back seats.....not enough room to drive! tell them to suck it up! price you pay for having a nice sounding stang. btw, my noise level in my '00 vert isnt that bad. my pipes probably dont sound as loud as yours though.
