To Dump or Not to Dump???

Well I have a delima..... My car is currently in the bodyshop and i am having my bodykit, a 2000 Cobra R front end, with a Saleen Rear and side skirts, put on and painted. My question is should i do the electric cut-out dumps to the holes in the side skirts, while keeping the Flow 40's with tips out the back???

A factory exhaust & cat-backs run all the way from your mid-pipe over the axle "unless you have IRS" out your rear bumper. Dumps are going to dump right before the axle. You will experience more of a drone inside the car. Personally I like the sound of a full cat-back. But on a SN-95 I like dumps. 99-current all have holes in the rear bumpers for the the tailpipes.

With the 6, I think someone once said that dumps may interfere with the necessary back pressure needed for our engines. Might want to check that out. Im not clear on the facts.

You don't need back pressure to run an engine... higher exhaust velocity = better performance. You just have to re-tune if you eliminate allot of back pressure.
