Question

LT's and O/R H Pipe

I was going to have a flowmaster exhaust put on very soon. I was wondering if you guys think i should get Lt headers and O/R H pipe. I live in chicago and we do have emissions and was wondering how hard it would be to put the old headers and y pipe back on whenever i have to have my emissions checked. Im not sure when i will have it but they generally do even number of years for even year cars and odd for odd. I have a 2004 and hope to have mine checked in 2010. But any way what do you guys think?

You will get checked wayyy earlier than that. Both my sisters 2004 honda and my 2004 mustang got checked this year. You should be able to pass if you just turn off the light with a tuner or MIL's. There is no visual inspection or sniffer.

Going of of what 04DSGV6 said, they just plug a tool into the OBDII port to see if there are any codes for bad cats, ect...

As long as you get a tune for the exhaust you will pass.
