Whipple 12 psi

Hey all, I just had a Whipple H.O. kit installed in a 2006 Mustang GT, the car is stock except for JBA 3" catback, 3:55 gears. the car made 461 rwhp, but the problem is I want alittle more. I spoke with Mike at whipple and he told me to go with the 12 psi kit, he also said that they have an 05 gt making well over 500rwhp that they drive hard on a daily basis. Mike also told me that i can leave the 10psi whipple tune alone and that it will work fine with the 12 psi kit. My question to you is do you think the engine will handle the 12 psi kit? or should i just leave it alone. The car has 12,000 miles on it. Thanks

its all in how you drive it, the rods are not any stronger, although the heads are much better, if your smart - keep it to 450 rwhp max

All the research that i have been doing because I'm putting the whipple HO 550 kit on my 06 gt and soem say that the bottom end can hold 12 psi and some say it cant i would call ford and whipple and other companies to see if each answer matches and i second changing the tune this way more boost more fuel and more everything this way everything works together

this.

A guy near me blew his with 487rwhp i think it was. I would keep mine under 450rwhp with a good tune and be happy until you build the motor.
