straight pipes

anybody have any idea of how my exhaust tone or velocity will change if i ran straight pipes from the headers to my catback compared to running an offroad h or x pipe? just wanting to know since i've seen people on here using the setup.

youll lose quite a bit of backpressure and itll be loud as feakin hell...

If you want to run no mufflers, I say go with an o/r H for the torque if your gonna do straights, but its all personal preference

i wasn't talking about substituting straight pipes for mufflers, i was referring to straight pipe sections replacing the h pipe or x pipe sections. i know that this section balances the exhaust pulses but will it be louder?

youtubes your best friend

youll still have some back pressure from the mufflers, but its gonna be raspy if its anyhitng like my buddies Nova. Thats what he has. longtubes, straights, Flowmaster Super 44s welded in. Its raspy as shit and pretty damn loud
