rear window leak

i know this might sound dumb but alot of the 'verts on ebay refer to a 20.99 part to fix the rear window leak. does anyone know anything about this?

thanks,

Mine didnt leak, but the vinyl pulled away from the window. I used some gorilla glue to hold it back down. works fine.

mine does leak, and it's because of the vinyl peeling off the window...

I wouldn't spend 20 bucks on it though, like ~C~ said, gorilla glue that sucker!

LOL, my fuckin window started leaking this past week with some heavy fuckin rains. I need to investigate the leak and glue it. The whole inside of the top holder behind the seat was filled 2" with water! it was sloshing around! I stuffed a towel back there to absorb it but i need to find the fucker! Karma is a bitch!

better check under your rear seat... usually the stuff that collects in that top holder and flows down under the seat

Damn i thought i was the only one with this problem.. its worse for me i got a small cut in the place where the water collects so it goes to the trunk as well, where my sub and amp are.. as of rite now, im just going to duck tape the place where the cut is and throw some towels back there just to avoid my system from getting wet.. and yes my floor was wet too took me an hour to get that sucker dry..

he didn't really resurrect it. it was most likely one of the top threads in the convertible section. we really don't bust balls round here for old threads because most of the time it's either people actually using the search function, or just browsing through the page and seeing they have a similiar problem.
