I am considering going with one of these as my trak lok just took a dump on me. The car sees the track 8-10 times a year. I would go with a spool but feel that is too much for a street/strip car. I want something that is going to hold up to 5000-6000 launches at the drag strip and still be drivable on the street. http://www.detroitlocker.com/DT.htm

Would like to hear some input from the drag racers on here - Darrell, twist 2 go, turp and any others I may have left out.

Well, I drive the car on the street some and to an occasional car shows. It has about 6600 miles on it and I will have owned it 3 years in January. I just want something that will hold up at the track. The 31 spline trac lok has taken a dump on me and it was installed last winter so I only got 1 season out of it. I could rebuild it but if it is only going to survive 6-8 test n tunes, I rather have something more durable.
