Changing Struts On A 89 Mustang Please Help!

I have a 89 mustang LX and I beleive I have a bad strut on the drivers side front. It squeaks anytime the car moves up or down. And if I push down on the front drivers side it doesn't come back up unless I pull it up. So what da ya guys think? Bas strut or is it something else. Now if it is a strut I have never changed one out before. Anything I need to know or should I leave it to the professionals to do it?

Sounds like a bad strut, I can't really think of anything else that would make it stick and stay in the down position! but if you do change them, its really easy, take the tire off, and pop the hood! you will see a big nut on top of the strut tower, take it off, and then there is also 2 nuts and bolts close to the caliper, take them out, and TADA! the strut should come out, then reverse the process putting the new ones on!
