2001 V6 Mustang Issue

Hello,

A few days ago I noticed something strange about my Mustang. When I would hit the gas pedal the car would pause for a second and then accelerate. Now after a few days it is still doing this. This is only a problem when I go to accelerate. So when I hit the gas pedal the car pauses for a brief second and also jerks a little bit. This is the part I can not really describe all that well, you can just feel the car do something strange like a little jerk. This is only a problem that happens when I accelerate and not maintain a constant speed. Any help/advice would be very much appreciated.

but seriously... check your u joints or feel for play in the driveshaft.

I had the same problem when I bought my car, it was because the timing was off.
