Xcal3 datalogging

Datalogging is one of the options on the xcal3. What is this and what is used for? I kind of want to do it but im not sure if it will change anything on my tune.

datalogging will not alter your tune what so ever. datalogging is when you view all of your vehicles parameters i.e., fuel pressure, spark, timing, rpm, load, egt, mph, etc. to adjust your tune. once the parameters are within the values of your preference you can lock them in and make a new tune. datalogging is basically viewing what your car is doing whether its idling or when your driving. you can adjust those parameters while driving or record your session and adjust your tune at home after pressing replay. hope this helps. i do it all the time with my Sniper software
