HP Performance turbo systems

Has anyone had any experience with these systems? I have a 95 mustang that I am about to turbo charge. I was considering going with HP Performance because they seem to be the only people who have a kit for a 95 mustang. Does anyone know of another company that make a kit for a 95? If it makes a difference I am not running the 5.0, I will be running a 351 base motor. Any help is appreciated.

I am not much of a Turbo guy, but I have heard nothing but good things about HP and their turbo setups. PM White99stang about it. He has done alot of research on turbos and could point you in the right direction.

Dont know what TurboLx was smoking, but HP Performance is
INFAMOUS for having the worst customer service in the industry.

6-9 month deliveries ...... yes months
Tons of lies and empty promises.

TurboMustang forums is full of people ripping them a new one.

Yes, the kits are good .............. when you finally get all of it.

Well I definately don't want to be waiting forever on my kit, kinda got a deadline I am trying to hit. I am calling Hellion today to see about a kit since they never answered my e-mails, however HP answered all my e-mails same day. kinda strange.

They are all busy.
Hellion is way to go if you need it right away.
They keep most stuff on the shelf ready to go.

Well Hellion does not make a kit for my car, almost no one else makes one for a 94-95 model. The guy building my engine called HP performance today and they said it would be 6-8 weeks from the time of order. Looks like I might have to chance it with them.

bhawwww

They tell EVERYONE 6-8 weeks.

You will get your kit from them .......... eventually ....... just dont come
back complaining when it ends up being 6-8 Months.

Just make it yourself. $500 in tools and $1,500-2,000 in parts at the MOST
Its really easy if you have half a brain and a garage.

LOL, well I definately have a brain, but I was gifted in areas other than mechanics, no way I am attempting to custom fabricate a turbo system myself.

However, Do you know about how much it would be to have a local place custom fabricate the piping and manifolds?

Aside from that, HP performance wants %70 up front and the rest before shipping claiming 6-8 weeks. Anyone else with any recent experience with them?

Get a hold of Jeff at Ponydown and see if he makes a turbo kit for your car. He has bad-ass service and actually calls you with updates and anything that may look like it may take longer than originally expected. Precision sent the wrong flanges for my turbos to him and called me to tell me that there would be a delay but he still got me my kit ahead of schedule. also B&G makes good stuff also. You could also check theturboforums.com classified sections they have used kits all the time
